i had the most incredible 2 week adventure in Europe.  people have asked me what my favorite part was...i can't answer....there are so many memories, so many sites, so many funny moments.  i could never even attempt to describe how great the trip was.

i am currently adjusting to this time zone and a new work shift.  it's been rough, and i got sick when I got home...adding to the stress of it all.

can i just go back to running around Europe and eating gelato with my family?  that would be very nice.

i am currently working on many blog posts to document the trip.  stay tuned my friends.....###

Book of Mormon: Challenge Accepted.

A couple of days ago, I finished reading the Book of Mormon.

I have read it twice through before this time, but embarrassingly need to admit...this was the first time i really focused on getting something out of it.
i followed the story...marked inspiring passages...and never let myself fall behind schedule.
it was a rewarding experience to say the very least!
i know that the Book of Mormon is true, and know that it is the keystone and foundation to the restored gospel.
i love the church so much...and i am thankful i got to read the Book of Mormon this summer along with my family and brian.

If anyone is foolish enough or misled enough to reject 531 pages of a heretofore unknown text teeming with literary and Semitic complexity without honestly attempting to account for the origin of those pages—especially without accounting for their powerful witness of Jesus Christ and the profound spiritual impact that witness has had on what is now tens of millions of readers—if that is the case, then such a person, elect or otherwise, has been deceived; and if he or she leaves this Church, it must be done by crawling over or under or around the Book of Mormon to make that exit.
